Magknight 787-9 Work in Progress Preview

 

Today we will have a closer look at Magkight´s 787. Its a payware aircraft modelled and build completely by himself. I got my hands on this plane and I will tell you my first impressions of it.

 

The plane comes with an XPlane 10 and 11 version and a veraiety of different liveries which include for example United Airlines, British Airways and Japan Airlines.

The outside model is made with great attention to the detail. It looks fantastic and it really stands out. It has some smaller problems for example the nose of the Dreamliner, but I think it will be fixed in future updates.

The downside of this plane is the cockpit. Dont get me wrong it looks still better then the cockpit of the Dreamliner from the xplane.org store, but it cannot reach texture levels of a Flight Factor or a JARDesign plane. However this is completely okay, due to the low price tag of only 23$ on the Sim Market website. Also the FMC is only the standard FMC of XPlane but you simply cannot expect more from a 23$ plane.

 

In conclusion the Magknight Dreamliner is an very good looking plane with a basic FMC. It is a very good package for such a little price and I am sure it is the best payware airliner for under 30$. And you have to remember that the money you spend will help the further development of this 787-9. So we could get an even better plane in some months from now.
