Plane Skids off Runway at Jalaluddin Airport
A Lion Air Boeing 737-800 skidded off the runway at Jalaluddin Airport in Gorontalo a few hours ago. At this moment, not much information is knwon, however it is said that the aircraft is registered PK-LOO. However, we do know that the Boeing 737 was carrying 174 passengers and 7 crew members when the incident occurred. It is understood that no passengers are hurt. Currently, the aircraft is still being evacuated. It is likely that the incident was due to a slippery runway from the rain.

The aircraft that is said to be registered PK-LOO, was performing flight JT892, flying from Makassar to Gorontalo and upon landing at Gorontalo (GTO) the aircraft skidded off the runway. The aircraft is currently at GTO.
